Thursday, September 18 | Doors 6pm, Lecture 6:30pm
Rocky Photographic Arts Studio | 116 Elliott Ave W, Seattle
Come meet fellow designers concerned about the environment and learn about new sustainable materials and practices that will help you become a green designer. This debut event for the AIGA Seattle Green Salon will feature two groups of local speakers – Amy Tucker of Xeko, and Rob and Jeff of SODO Creative – each equally committed to the environment and their craft.
We welcome you to come early. We'll begin the evening with light refreshments before jumping into the lecture at 6:30. A question and answer period will be held at the end of the night so be sure to bring your toughest questions – our experts will most definitely be up to the challenge!
Amy Tucker is a local designer who developed Xeko, a trading card game for kids and parents. Not only does this game promote being eco-friendly, but it was produced using only sustainable materials. Come hear how Amy put her green goggles on and reduced her carbon footprint with innovative ideas and strategies.
SODO Creative, LLC provides high quality print and Web marketing solutions with a commitment to social and environmental responsibility. At the SODO DOJO (a virtual workspace), Jeff and Rob are constantly devising new ways to reduce the amount of energy, materials, and impact to the environment for both business and clients.
