Just a few reminders:
-Shanda Smith, our first guest speaker of the quarter, will be in on the 17th. Any other ideas for people you might wanna get in to speak, talk to Jared and Rachel at the next meeting.
-As you can see below, the new screen printing room will be having a "grand opening" little deal NEXT WEEK!!
-Seattle Show is the 26th and as of this morning, Renee doesn't need any more volunteers, but if you desperately want to try, she can put you on a waiting list because she's still trying to hear back from a couple people. It's $65 for students, and at Showbox SODO (and sadly, you have to be 21 to volunteer, not sure about attending).
-Shadow project.. Rachel will be talking to Melanie to see about getting us some black butcher paper for our silhouettes, and we might be working on them next week in class if that happens.
-POSTCARD project!! Design, design, design, and in two weeks, try to have yours ready. Can be handmade or digitized.
-More GD club poster ideas still welcome!

Can some one post more details about the postcard project?
you have about two weeks to create/raft/design a postcard.
the only rule is it needs to be mailable.
i didnt mention this on tuesday, but if you could include a postage stamp it would be kinda awesome. it seems it's in the works still, but the goal is to have them mailed out and exchanged anonymously between those who participate.
what's even cool-er, everyone will end up with a postcard set of all the postcards that were created by everyone.
the idea for creating the postcards is due to the fact the people don't really write letters, or send postcards anymore these days.
plus, making things for other people is rad.
