AIGA Seattle Presents
Hot Shipoopi Nights
Modern Dog turns drinking age and celebrates 21 years
Wednesday, April 23 / 6pm
Nectar / Fremont / 21 and over
If you're a designer that road-rages over bad kerning or gets beat down by mid-level management art directors, then come down and have some fun with others in the same boat.
Enjoy a night "Shipoopi Happens" and help celebrate Modern Dog's 21st anniversary and the release of their book "Modern Dog: 20 Years of Poster Art".
That guy from Vern Fonk will be hosting the night which includes: Shit Oven, The Madeleines, DJ FOURCOLORZACK, and caricature artist Junichi Tsuneoka. We will also be raffling off Adobe CS3, a K2 Snowboard, signed copies of "Modern Dog: 20 Years of Poster Art," a signed poster collection, cupcakes from Cupcake Royale, a Blue Q gift basket, an Lectro-Stik waxer and more. All proceeds to benefit AIGA Seattle. Be sure to arrive early so you can take advantage of Nectar's Happy Hour. Voted one of the best in town, you'll find cheap drinks and great food to sustain you throughout the night.
