Free events at SVC!!!!!

FREE! The Art of Sub Pop
Next Tuesday, 3/25, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A free event, but online pre-registration is required
If you're familiar with the work of Jeff Kleinsmith and Dusty Summers, then you already know how they've pretty much single-handedly (dual-handedly?) shaped the music design world hereabouts. Their posters, apparel, and packaging work for Mudhoney, The Shins, Wilco, and Death Cab for Cutie, among others, have set a graphic style that's been widely admired and imitated.

FREE! The Secret to Happy Clients
Next Wednesday, 3/26, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A free event, but online pre-registration is required
It sounds obvious: if your clients are happy, you'll do better work, build your reputation, and make more money. But are there actually steps you can follow that lead to client bliss? Absolutely. And Patricia Belyea of the design firm bearing her name -- someone who's been making clients delirious for two decades -- will share them with you.

FREE! The Killer Interview (And How to Avoid Interview Killers)
Next Thursday, 3/27, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A free event, but online pre-registration is required
You aren't going anywhere if you can't represent yourself well in an interview. Fortunately, some people who have sat through thousands of them, Stefanie Matsudaira and Vivian Veraguth of Filter, will share tips on how to improve your interviewing style, create a winning resume, and put together a marketable portfolio. Bring yours for breakout sessions where Filter talent reps will gently critique your portfolio, web site, resume and your other marketing materials.
